CAMP STRUCTURE

The LITTLE HOUNDS will have their own court and will be introduced to the fundamentals of the game.  The HOUND ACADEMY players will receive training in fundamentals, tactics, and will be ability grouped for match play. The HOUND ADVANCED TRAINING/PROSPECT CAMP is for 9th-12th graders who have at least 2 years club and /or high school experience and want to raise the level of their play AND be seen by the Moravian College coaching staff. The HOUND EXPRESS CAMP will be separate from the advanced camp and is geared toward beginners. 

CAMP DIRECTOR

Shelley Bauder has been the head women’s volleyball coach at Moravian College for the past 24 years, amassing a 482-311 record.  Coach Bauder has been the Conference Coach of the Year four times in her career and has had twelve twenty-win seasons since 1996. She has coached five Conference Rookies of the Year, two Conference Players of the Year, forty All Conference Players, thirteen All Region Players and five All Americans.

REGISTRATION

New this year - Register and PAY online!  If you are unable to pay online please contact Shelley Bauder at bauders@moravian.edu for an alternative payment method.

A family discount is available - $5 per family member will be refunded at registration.  Any payment made the week of camp must be cash or money order.

CANCELLATIONS

No refunds after July 15th.  All refunds are subject to a $100.00 processing fee.  If circumstances or injury make it impossible for attendance at our 2017 camp after receipt of deposit, we will apply deposit in full to your 2018 camp tuition.

CONFIRMATION OF ENROLLMENT

Prior to camp, you will receive confirmation by email.  More information will be sent to you upon receipt of your application and payment.  

FACILITIES

Breidegam Field House, along with Johnston Hall, will be the site of the camp.  The field house is a huge facility with four courts available for play.  A newly renovated state of the art floor in air conditioned Johnston Hall is an excellent site for instruction and play.

INSURANCE

Each camper is covered by an excess camp medical insurance policy for injury resulting from camp accidents.  Medical care is available at all times.
