INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Moravian College has had three student-athletes in the javelin – senior Michael Guarino and juniors Robert Condo and Mary Kate Duncan – selected as part of the field for the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships that will be hosted by the University of Mount Union at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio from May 25-27.

Duncan is making her third trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships after being an All-American last spring while Guarino and Condo are making their first trips to the NCAA meet.

Duncan will be the first of the trio to compete in the championships with the women's javelin scheduled for Thursday, May 25 at 3:00 p.m. Duncan enters the meet with the second best throw in the nation this spring at 45.82 meters (150-4), which she threw this past Wednesday to win the ECAC Division III Outdoor Championship. Last spring, Duncan finished fifth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a toss of 44.19 meters (144-11) on her fourth throw of the competition to earn All-American accolades. She was 22nd in the meet as a freshman and is a three-time runner-up in the javelin at the Landmark Conference Championships.

Condo and Guarino will follow Duncan on Thursday with the men's competition beginning at 5:00 p.m. Condo, the 2017 Landmark Conference Champion, enters the meet ninth in the nation with a toss of 62.40 meters (204-9) that won the conference title while Guarino begins the competition in tenth place at 62.38 meters (204-8), which he threw at the Landmark Conference meet to finish as the runner-up to Condo.
