BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College is continuing its look back at its 2016-17 athletic campaign. Before unveiling the top exciting game of the year, here is a look at the nine contests that just missed making the top ten countdown.

Football on September 3 – Moravian opens the 2016 season with a 50-35 victory over King's College at Rocco Calvo Field in the first of two games that the Greyhounds scored more than 50 points. Men's Soccer on September 10 – The Greyhounds scored twice in the final 23 minutes and then defeated Wilkes University, 3-2, in overtime on the road with a goal in the 98th minute. Women's Soccer on October 26 – Moravian scores the winning goal in the 95th minute to defeat Goucher College, 1-0, in Landmark Conference action in Towson, Maryland. Men's Soccer on October 27 – Moravian defeats DeSales, 2-1 in overtime, as the Greyhounds score the tying goal in the 90th minute and the winning goal in the 100th minute. Men's Basketball on February 22 – The Greyhounds defeated No. 17 Susquehanna University, 81-69, in the Landmark Conference Semifinals in Johnston Hall as the program won its first home postseason game since 1990. Women's Lacrosse on March 2 – Moravian and King's College were tied at 4-4 with ten minutes left in the first half, and the Greyhounds would go on to outscore the Monarchs, 10-4 over the rest of the match for a 14-8 victory. Softball on April 23 – Moravian defeated The Catholic University of America, 1-0, in the opening game of a Landmark Conference doubleheader sweep that would clinch the Greyhounds the top seed in the 2017 Landmark Conference Tournament.
