BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College Department of Athletics & Recreation has a number of projects going on during the summer of 2018 including the renovation of the baseball/football locker room at the Steel Athletic Complex.

The locker room building below the playing area at Rocco Calvo Field and next to Gillespie Baseball Field and Hoffman Tennis Courts was built shortly after Moravian began playing at the Steel Athletic Complex in the late 1960s and the lockers being replaced are deemed to be the original lockers putting them at near 50 years old. Demolition to remove the old lockers has been completed with painting the locker room as the next step before the new lockers will be installed and new flooring is laid. The renovated locker room will be ready by the time the football team reports to preseason camp on August 10.

The replacement project, which includes 100 new lockers as well as branding and a players’ lounge area that will also be used for team meetings, has a cost of $150,000. Moravian’s Blue & Grey Club has started the project with a generous donation of $50,000. There are opportunities for former Greyhounds, families and friends to support the project and be recognized in a variety of ways.
