Jaindl & Robinson Qualify to Compete in 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Moravian College men's and women's track & field teams has had two student-athletes – graduate student Greg Jaindl and sophomore Crystal Robinson – selected as part of the field for the 2021 NCAA Division III Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships that will be hosted by North Carolina A&T University and the Greensboro Sports Foundation at the Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, North Carolina from May 27-29.

Jaindl, who is making his third trip to the NCAA Outdoor meet, is slated to race in the finals of the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Friday, May 28 at 4:45 p.m. Jaindl ran a season-best time of 9:09.70 on May 13 at the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central (Ill.) College, which was the ninth qualifying spot and is also the third fastest time in the Mideast Region.

Robinson, who will be competing in the NCAA Championships for the first time, was the final entrant in the 19-runner field for the 200-meter dash with the preliminaries set for Thursday, May 27 at 4:55 p.m. Robinson ran her qualifying time of 24.88 seconds on May 20 in the finals of the 2021 All-Atlantic Region Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which was the last day to record qualifying times, distances and heights for the NCAA meet. Robinson's time is a personal best and the third fastest in the Mideast Region. The top two from each of the three preliminary heats and the next two fastest times will advance to the finals on Saturday at 2:40 p.m.
