BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University finishes its look back at its 2020-21 athletic campaign. The final entry in our countdown– the Top 10 Stories of the Year selected by the athletic administration – is our No. 1 highlight –graduate student Greg Jaindl earning All-America honors in the steeplechase
Jaindl returned to use his final year of eligibility while beginning working towards a master's degree in Athletic Training at Moravian. The trip to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina was Jaindl's fourth attempt to become an All-American and third on the track. He had raced at the national championships in the steeplechase in 2018 and 2019 as well as the cross country national championships in 2019.
Jaindl entered the meet with the ninth best seed time during the regular season, and he would spend most of the 3,000-meter steeplechase race in second place before finishing third to achieve the elusive All-America honor in the final race of his career.
