Moravian to Live Stream Inaugural All-Athlete Awards Banquet on April 24

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University Department of Athletes and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be hosting their inaugural All-Athlete Awards Banquet on Monday, April 24 in Johnston Hall with the event live streamed at https://landmarknetwork.tv/moravian/.

The evening begins with a blue carpet entrance for all student-athletes with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. with a buffet dinner. The awards portion of the evening is set to start at 7:00 p.m.

The Greyhounds will be presenting awards for male and female Newcomer of the Year, Athlete of the Year, Blue & Grey Senior Scholar-Athlete and Outstanding Senior Athlete. In addition, there will be awards for Highest Team Grade-Point Average for men and women, Best Character, Spirit, Top Play, Most Decorated Team, Comeback Athlete of the Year presented by St. Luke's Sports Medicine, Iron Hounds Sports Performance Awards and the H.T.D. Gillespie Award for outstanding service to Moravian's athletic program.

With Moravian's 2023 spring teams still competing, the awards window includes the spring 2022, fall 2022 and winter 2022-23 seasons. The current 2023 spring teams will be eligible for next year's awards show.

The night will also include the presentation of the senior athlete awards to the 94 graduating seniors as well as recognizing the newest class of 71 juniors and seniors with a 3.40 or higher cumulative GPA being inducted in the Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.
