Moravian Tennis Teams Set to Resume Spring Portion of 2024-25 Schedule in February

Tennis schedule for 2025 spring season

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's and women's tennis team are set to resume their 2024-25 seasons with the beginning of the spring slate on Saturday, February 15 versus NCAA Division II East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania for the women's squad, which is 4-0 overall and 1-0 in Landmark Conference play.

The men, who are 3-1 overall and 1-0 in Landmark Conference action this year, resume their schedule on Sunday, February 23, and the women will face the Mules that afternoon as well.

The teams are slated to head to Florida during spring break, and the Blue & Grey will begin the trip on Sunday, March 2 with both teams facing Wartburg (Iowa) College at the Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach, Florida. Both Moravian squads will play Albion (Mich.) College at the USTA National Campus in Orlando on the morning of Monday, March 3, and that afternoon the men will play Wentworth Institute of Technology (Mass.) while the women face NCAA Division II California University of Pennsylvania. The trip ends on Wednesday, March 5 with both teams playing Adrian (Mich.) College at Oak Street Park in Orlando.

The men play first when the teams return north with a match at The College of New Jersey on Friday, March 14 while the women will resume their Landmark Conference schedule on Saturday, March 15 when they host Goucher College. Both teams head to King's College for a non-conference match on Sunday, March 16. The women's squad is slated to host NCAA Division II Kutztown University of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, March 19, and both programs welcome Albright College for non-conference matches on Thursday, March 20.

The Greyhounds will make the trip to Susquehanna University for Landmark Conference contests on Saturday, March 22 while the men will host Goucher College on Wednesday, March 26. The month of March concludes with Landmark Conference matches at The University of Scranton on Saturday, March 29 and home versus Elizabethtown College on Sunday, March 30.

The first weekend in April has Moravian hosting Wilkes University on Saturday, April 5 and The Catholic University of America on Sunday, April 6. The women's team closes out its non-conference slate versus Kutztown on Wednesday, April 9 while both teams head to Juniata College on Saturday, April 12. The Greyhounds finish out the regular season with Landmark Conference matches at Drew University with the men heading to Madison, New Jersey on Wednesday, April 16 and the women making the trip on Wednesday, April 23.

Both Moravian squads aim to make appearances in the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins on Tuesday, April 29 for the men and Wednesday, April 30 for the women with the first-round match between the third and sixth seeds and the fourth and fifth seeds. The semifinal contests are slated for Thursday, May 1 for men and Friday, May 2 for women at the top two seeds while the conference championships are scheduled for Saturday, May 3 for men and Sunday, May 4 for women at the highest remaining seed. Each conference champion will earn an automatic berth to the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament.
