Throughout each academic year, Moravian College student-athletes and coaches participate in a number of community service activities and projects in Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley.

March 21, 2014 - The Moravian College men's and women's basketball teams participated in a Pep Rally at Nitschmann Middle School as the school prepares for the PSSA testing. Click here for the story and a photo gallery.

March 14, 2014 - The Moravian College men's soccer, women's soccer, women's tennis, volleyball and women's basketball teams read to students at Fountain Hill Elementary School in Bethlehem as part of the continuing partnership with the Cops 'n' Kids Literacy Program. February 25, 2014 - The Moravian College men's tennis team made weekly appearences at William Penn Elementary School in Bethlehem, serving as mentors to the students. The Greyhounds read, did crafts and played sports with their young protégés once a week. Click here for a photo gallery.

February 4 & 6, 2014 - The Moravian College women's basketball team hosted two youth basketball clinics - one in Springfield, N.J. and one at home in Johnston Hall - to benefit the fundraising and awareness efforts for women's cancer research and the 2014 Play 4Kay initiative. January 20, 2014 - The Moravian College men's and women's basketball teams hosted a clinic for 65 fifth and sixth grade students from St. Jane Frances de Chantal School in Easton, Pa. in Johnston Hall. Head women's basketball coach Mary Beth Spirk gave some opening remarks before the children split up into stations for basketball instructions, drills and games led by the Greyhounds.

January 16, 2014 - Moravian College hosted a track & field academy on Thursday afternoon for a team of 80 sixth grade students from Nitschmann Middle School in the Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse. Click here to read more.

October 24, 2013 - Coaches and players from the Moravian College volleyball, field hockey, women's basketball, women's tennis and women's soccer teams hosted an eager and energetic group of children in the ARC on Thursday morning for the College Connect program, sponsored by the Center for Leadership and Service. October 1, 2013 - Moravian College and Nitchsmann Middle School began their 2013-14 partnership on Tuesday with five student-athletes Ericka Blair, Brian Boland, Emily Marley, Bryn Tafuri, and Jeffrey Algor taking about why they chose Moravian and showing a slideshow.

September 28, 2013 - Members of the Moravian College cheerleading squad took part in the 14th Annual Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.

September 22, 2013 - Members of the Moravian College field hockey and women's basketball teams participated in the 2013 Lehigh Valley Heart Walk at Northampton Community College, raising over $1,200.

September 14 & 21, 2013 - Members of the Moravian College baseball program are spending two Saturdays working with the Miracle League of Northampton County. Click here to read more.

August 26 & 27, 2013 - Members of the Moravian College women's basketball and women's soccer teams worked the concession stands at Coca-Cola Park during the Lehigh Valley IronPigs series with Buffalo. The pay the teams would have received was donated to Cops 'n' Kids of the Lehigh Valley.
