Moravian College Athletics - Community Service

Throughout each academic year, Moravian College student-athletes and coaches participate in a number of community service activities and projects in Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley.

Ongoing - Marvine Elementary School Afternoon Program - The Moravian College Athletic Department will be continuing its partnership with Marvine Elementary School in Bethlehem for a weekly after school program during 2017-18. Student-athletes from each of Moravian's 20 teams and cheerleading squad will take part in two sessions over the course of the year with approximately 20 students from Marvine.

 

Ongoing - Boys & Girls Club Mentoring Program - The Moravian College Athletic Department is entering into the second year of a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club in Bethlehem for a weekly after school program during 2017-18.

  

September 1, 2017 - Members of the Moravian College men's and women's basketball teams manned a concession stand with Cops n Kids at the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs game. Photo Gallery

 

October & November 2017 - Members of the Moravian College Baseball squad helped clean up Monocacy Creek. Story available here.
