Moravian Announces Fitness Center Staff

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College has named Spencer Brown as the director of its new fitness center as well as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Zak Tupper as the fitness center intern effective immediately.

"We are excited to have Spencer and Zak come on board to help us run our brand new 10,000-square foot fitness center and 3,200-square foot performance center," stated Bob Ward, Assistant Athletic Director and Head Athletics Trainer.

Brown comes to Moravian after working as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Lafayette College and managing a 4,000-square foot facility for the Leopards' student-athletes.  Brown was a member of the Lafayette football team from 2005 through 2009, earning a spot on the 2008 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.  He was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Brown is a 2009 graduate of Lafayette with a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology and sociology.

Tupper is completing his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management at East Stroudsburg University, and he will be graduating in May.  While at East Stroudsburg, Tupper has been a member of the baseball team and the Sport Management Club.  He has also worked at Competitive Edge Sports in King of Prussia.
