BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The fur will be flying in Moravian College's Johnston Hall gym on Saturday, February 18, 2012, as the Moravian College DawgPack Mascot Performers sponsor the first ever "Teddy Bear Toss".  Fans are asked to bring a teddy bear or other friendly fuzzy critter to the 2:00 p.m. Women's Basketball game, when the Greyhounds host Landmark Conference rival The University of Scranton in the final home game of the regular season.

At halftime, a countdown will be followed by an aerial launch of the flying furballs onto center court.  All teddy bears and other stuffed animals will be collected and donated to St. Luke's Hospital Pediatric Unit for distribution to children.  Everyone who brings a stuffed animal to donate will receive a raffle ticket good for prize drawings throughout the game.

Moravian College's mascot, "Amos the Greyhound" will be joined on the court for the countdown and the Teddy Bear Toss by the Lehigh Valley's favorite teddy bear, "TeleBear" from PBS39 / WLVT, the Lehigh Valley's public television station.  Both mascots will be available before and during the game for a meet-and-greet and photos.  Fans are encouraged to bring cameras and armloads of fuzzy friends!
