Greyhound Dawg Pack Makes Trip to St. Luke's Hospital

Teddy Bear Toss donations

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Amos the Greyhound and members of Moravian College's Greyhound Dawg Pack made a trip to the St. Luke's Hospital Pediatric Unit Friday morning to drop off stuffed animals collected during Moravian's Teddy Bear Toss on February 18.

Amos with performers Phil Torres and Aric Werkheiser and coordinator Marty Moyle visited 20 patients in the Pediatric Unit Friday morning and left the remaining stuffed animals with the hospital to use with new patients in the future.

"It was an extremely rewarding experience," Torres said.  "Being able to better their experiece at the hospital and put a smile on their faces - a spectacular feeling."

The Greyhound Dawg Pack collected a total of 186 teddy bears and other stuffed animals at halftime of Moravian's women's basketball game on February 18th versus the University of Scranton.
