Froehlich Honored on MAC 100 Century Team for Wrestling

Mike Froelich named to MAC 100 in wrestling

ANNVILLE, Pa. --- Former Moravian College student-athlete Mike Froehlich has been named to the MAC 100 Century Team for Wrestling from the 1985-94 era.

As a part of the MAC 100 celebration, the Middle Atlantic Conference will recognize top athletes from conference history, naming student-athletes to Century Teams in each sport from each era. Eras were delineated based on conference membership and sport sponsorship. The number of individuals selected per team varies depending upon the nature of the sport. Century Teams were selected from an online fan vote combined with the MAC Sports Information Directors vote. Team members will receive a commemorative gold coin, distributed to their alma matter. Froehlich had an individual record of 27-3 with 16 pins during the season, and he won the MAC title at 142 pounds. Froehlich helped the Greyhounds to one of their best seasons in school history as the team went 10-8 in dual matches, won its first MAC team title and finished eighth at the NCAA Division III National Championships hosted by the United States Coast Guard Academy.
