BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College baseball team was getting set to begin its 2015 season this coming weekend, February 21 and 22 with a pair of games at the 8th Annual Floyd B. Wilcox Memorial Tournament hosted by Hampden-Sydney College; however, a snowstorm earlier this week has left over a half a foot of snow on the field at Hampden-Sydney and forced the cancellation of the tournament.
The games between the Greyhounds and host Hampden-Sydney and Guilford (N.C.) College will not be rescheduled this season. Moravian is looking into adding two games to its schedule later in the season.
The Hounds are now scheduled to begin their 2015 campaign on Wednesday, March 4 when the squad heads to No. 11 Kean University for a non-conference game beginning at 3:30 p.m.
