MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- The Moravian College baseball team received 55 points and is just out of the national rankings in the third D3baseball.com Top 25 rankings of the 2015 regular season released Tuesday.

The Greyhounds, who are 2-1 this spring, lead the group of 26 schools that received votes outside of the Top 25, and the Hounds are just 16 points behind No. 25 Frostburg State University.

Moravian began its 2015 campaign with pair of wins against teams that were ranked in the poll with a 5-2 victory vs. then-No. 18 Webster (Mo.) University and an 8-5 triumph over then-No. 12 Marietta (Ohio) College. The Hounds loss is a 6-2 setback to then-No. 19 Baldwin-Wallace (Ohio) College on Monday. Marietta is ranked 16th in the latest poll while Baldwin-Wallace is 17th and Webster received votes.

The Blue & Grey have games left later this season against No. 6 Kean (N.J.) University, No. 20 Misericordia University and No. 23 Rowan (N.J.) University, and the squad also has a three-game Landmark Conference series with Elizabethtown College, which also received a vote in the poll this week.
