MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Moravian College senior center fielder Anthony Gaetaniello has been selected to the 2017 D3baseball.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region Third Team.

Gaetaniello, who named to the 2017 Landmark All-Conference First Team this month and was on the Landmark All-Conference Second Team last spring, led the Greyhounds with a .404 batting average this year as he went 55-of-136 at the plate. He also contributed 43 runs, nine doubles, a triple, a homer, 15 RBIs, 17 walks, a .481 on-base percentage and a .507 slugging percentage. Gaetaniello was 15-for-18 on stolen base attempts this season, and he completed his career with a school record 65 stolen bases. Gaetaniello also became the fourth player to reach the 200-hit milestone as he completed this career with exactly 200 hits.

"Anthony had an outstanding senior campaign and could have been higher in a few statistical categories if we hadn't had a couple of games cancelled by the weather," stated Head Coach Paul Engelhardt. "He battled back from knee surgery during the off season and still had a great year to complete a tremendous career with the Greyhound program."
