Why did you choose Moravian College?
Coming from a small high school, Moravian best fit what I was looking for.  Getting an excellent liberal arts education while continuing to build the baseball program are the main reasons.

What is your major and why?
Accounting.  I enjoy working with numbers and money, and have always been strong at it. There are endless possibilities in the field and always job opportunities available.

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
Cost Accounting with Dr. Vinciguerra.  It showed me a different part of accounting, which dealt with many real life issues.  We were put in the position of a manager and had to decide what was best for the company.

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
I plan on getting my CPA and working at a firm in New York City.

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
Winning the Landmark Conference Championship in 2013.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student?
Being an student athlete has really helped me manage my time.  There is so little down time it really makes you stay on top of schoolwork.

What is the hardest part of your sport?
The mental part of the game is by far the hardest thing about baseball.  Having a bad day hitting or losing a tough game and coming back the next day and doing it all over again.  You need to have a short-term memory and put the past behind you.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
I chose 7 because it was the best number available my freshman year.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome.
My freshman year nobody expected us to win the championship. We faced a lot of adversity and were actually one game away from missing the playoffs.  We rose to the occasion and came together as a team and won the championship and went to the NCAA tournament.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?
As a student-athlete at Moravian, a lot of young kids look up to the athletes here.  One thing the baseball team did last year was work with less fortunate children at the Miracle League. This experience was very rewarding because seeing the kids happy made the whole team feel great.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
Moravian is a school where everybody knows each other and is friends with each other.  The professors go out of their way to help every student succeed and care about their students; you are not just another number.  The baseball team is on the rise and becoming one of the best division 3 programs in the country.
