Matt Hanson joined the Moravian College baseball staff in 2017 and will be in his sixth year on the staff in 2022. Hanson, a 2015 Moravian graduate, was a three-time Landmark All-Conference First Team selection while playing for the Greyhounds. Hanson, who was the 2014 Landmark Conference, ECAC Division III South and D3baseball.com Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year while earning D3baseball.com Second Team and American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings Third Team All-America honors, set new school records in games played with 160, runs scored with 142 and stolen bases with 62, and he finished his career ranked in the top 10 all-time in at-bats with 562 (second), hits with 210 (second), batting average at .374 (third), RBIs with 116 (fourth), doubles with 39 (fourth), triples with 11 (third), total bases with 283 (second), on-base percentage at .456 (second), slugging percentage at .504 (fifth), walks with 62 (seventh) and hit-by-pitch with 30 (tied for second).
