Why did you choose Moravian College?
I chose Moravian College because it was a great
opportunity for me to be able to peruse photography as a major and
still cheer.
What is your major and why?
My major is photography, throughout high school I started
to experiment with photography and realized that this is what I
want to do in my future. Having a career in photography gives
me the opportunity to work in a field that I love and enjoy
doing.
What has been your favorite course at Moravian and
why?
My favorite course at Moravian is the traditional
photography classes that I took with Jeff Hurwitz. Moravian
is on of very few schools that has a wet lab, and having the
opportunity to learn the process with such a wonderful and
knowledgeable professor is a great advantage.
What are your plans for the future once you finish your
degree at Moravian?
My future plans once I graduate is to hopefully start in
the sports photography business, this was always a career that I
held great interest in doing.
What is your most memorable moment as a
Greyhound?
My most memorable moment as a Greyhound is my sophomore
year when our football team won the ECAC Bowl
Game.
How has being an athlete helped you as a student?
Being an athlete has helped me as a student by enhancing
my time management and keeping me organized.
What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian
College student-athlete?
The advice I would give to a prospective Moravian College
Student-athlete would be to be prepared to juggle your time, and
make sure that your school work is always your first priority.
