Why did you choose Moravian College?

I chose Moravian because I could picture myself at a small school. I wanted that "well-rounded" college experience, and at Moravian I am able to be involved on campus, build a resume, and I love the small classroom sizes.

What is your major and why?

I chose to be a marketing major because I knew coming into college that I had an interest in business. Through internships I've discovered that marketing is the best field for me!

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?

My favorite course at Moravian was Dr. Haddad's Modern Political Theory. We had to keep a journal throughout the semester and it helped me realize how valuable opinions, thoughts, and freedoms are. Plus, she's an amazing professor!

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?

My plans for the future are to work in the marketing/public relations field.

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?

My most memorable moment as a Greyhound was winning first place at Nationals last year!

How has being an athlete helped you as a student?

Being an athlete has helped me as a student because it has helped improve my time-management skills. Being able to balance practice, homework, classes, and workouts is super important for success on the mat and in the classroom.

What is the hardest part of your sport?

I'm very hard on myself, so if I can't hit a stunt during practice, it's easy for me to get inside my head. Just taking one skill at a time.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome.

I switched positions this year from a flyer to a base, so adjusting to that has been challenging at times. But, because I understand what a flyer expects in the air, I can use that to help me when I base.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?

Community service is important to my role as a student-athlete because I understand that it's a privilege to be a part of a collegiate sport. Not many people are able to have this opportunity, and we're considered role models, especially to kids in the area, so giving back whenever we can is important and it's something I value.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?

Take advantage of every opportunity. If you get a chance at something, take it. Give it your all.
