Football to Kick Off 2014 Season on September 6 vs. King's

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football schedule is set for the 2014 season and will kick off on Saturday, September 6 at 1:00 p.m. when the Greyhounds host King's College at Rocco Calvo Field for their only non-conference game of the season to begin Head Coach Jeff Pukszyn's fourth season leading the program.

Moravian then begins its nine-game, 2014 Centennial Conference slate on Saturday, September 13 when the squad welcomes McDaniel College to Rocco Calvo Field in the school's annual Family Day game with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff. The Greyhounds will play their first road game of the year on Saturday, September 20 when they head to Baltimore to face defending Centennial Conference Champion Johns Hopkins University as 12:00 p.m.

The Greyhounds will return home to close out September versus Dickinson College on September 27 with kickoff at 1:00 p.m. Moravian will close out the first half of the 2014 campaign at Ursinus College on Saturday, October 4 at 1:00 p.m.

After a weekend off during fall break, Moravian returns to action for the annual Homecoming game on Saturday, October 18 as the Hounds face Susquehanna University at 1:00 p.m. The Greyhounds then start a three-game road trip on Saturday, October 25 when they travel to Lancaster to face Franklin & Marshall College on the Diplomats' Homecoming at 1:00 p.m.

Moravian will be at Gettysburg College on Saturday, November 1 with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff and at Juniata College on Saturday, November 8 at noon to finish up the 2014 road season.

The Greyhounds close out the year with their annual rivalry game versus Muhlenberg College on Saturday, November 15 at 12:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field. During halftime of the contest, Moravian will honor the members of its 2014 Hall of Fame class that is slated to be inducted on November 14.

Once again in 2014, all ten of Moravian's games will be broadcast live by WSAN 1470 AM Fox Sports Radio with pregame starting an hour before kickoff each Saturday.
