Pukszyn & Snyder-Scipio Participate in #CCKickoff14

LANCASTER, Pa. --- Moravian College Head Football Coach Jeff Pukszyn and sophomore wide receiver Jalen Snyder-Scipio took part in the 2014 Centennial Conference Media Day (#CCKickoff14) at Franklin & Marshall College Wednesday.

The head coaches and a student-athlete from each of the conference's 10 schools met at F&M's Ann & Richard Barshinger Life Sciences & Philosophy Building for the annual get together. After a welcome from Centennial Conference Executive Director Steve Ulrich, there were brief presentations on a concussion study that will be conducted by the conference this fall and from the conference's officiating group.

Following the introduction, the coaches and student-athletes rotated through three stations. With some time before their first schedule talk, Pukszyn and Snyder-Scipio both sat down for interviews with Tom Housenick from the Allentown Morning Call for a preview.

Pukszyn then took the podium to talk about the 2014 Greyhounds with the media in attendance.

"I think there is a lot of excitement coming into preseason camp this year," stated Pukszyn. "The way the guys came together in the second half of last season once everyone became comfortable with the new offensive scheme. We had a great set of spring workouts and the upperclassmen are really looking forward to getting back on the field next week."

Pukszyn and Snyder-Scipio then spent a few minutes in the production room of the #CCKickoff14 for a few segments that will be used throughout the season on Centennial webcasts.

For the Greyhounds, the day finished up by taking part in a 10-minute fireside chat with WGAL-TV Weekend Sports Anchor Justin Betti. The chat was streammed live on www.centennialconference.tv.

The afternoon finished with the unveiling of the 2014 Centennial Conference Preseason Poll, which can be found at http://www.centennial.org/sports/fball/2014-15/guide/8-6-Poll, and a lunch with the coaches, student-athletes and media in attendance.
