Hounds Ready for Trip to No. 14 Johns Hopkins on Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football team, 2-0 for the first time since 2008, is set to make its first road trip of the 2014 season when the squad heads to No. 14 Johns Hopkins University for a Centennial Conference game kicking off at 12:00 p.m. at Homewood Field in Baltimore.

The Greyhounds have been jumping on the socreoard quickly this season, scoring 3:10 into the opener versus King's on September 6 and needing just 13 seconds last week against McDaniel as freshman running back Eli Redmond returned the opening kickoff a school-record 100 yards for a touchdown.

Between offense, special times and interceptions, the Greyhounds have registerd 16 plays of 20 or more yards with six of those longer than 30 yards this season, while the Hounds' defense has allowed just 10 plays of more than 20 yards and only three of them longer than 30 yards.
