Hounds Ready for Season Opener at King's Saturday Night

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football team is set for its first night game since the 2007 season when the Greyhounds kickoff the 2015 campaign at King's College on Saturday, September 5 at 6:00 p.m.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Hounds return seven starters including junior quarterback Mike Hayes, junior running back Chris Negron, junior wide receivers Jalen Snyder-Scipio and Liam Nolan, senior offensive linemen Max Neis and Daniel Smith and junior offensive lineman Bradley Straight. Moravian averaged 361.3 yards per game last season and the unit will look to pick up where it left off.

Defensively, the Greyhounds have another seven starters back with five seniors defensive lineman Ryan Pysher and Dan Bracken, linebacker Brendan Downey and defensive backs Jimmy McCarthy and Anthony Orlando and two juniors defensive lineman John Snyder and defensive back Noah Miller. The Hounds average two takeaways a game last season including 15 interceptions.
