Greyhounds Host Gettysburg Saturday at Rocco Calvo Field

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football team continues its three-game home stand with the middle contest on Saturday, October 31 as Gettysburg College comes to Rocco Calvo Field for a 1:00 p.m. Centennial Conference game.

Saturday is also Take a Kid to the Game at Rocco Calvo Field with all children 14 and under getting in free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Moravian's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will have face painting and all children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Moravian will also be welcoming the students from William Penn Elementary School.

On the field, Moravian's offense put up a school-record 590 yards of offense in last weekend's 34-19 Homecoming win over Franklin & Marshall College. Sophomore running back Eli Redmond surpassed 1,000 yards for his career on the ground last weekend and is 23rd in school history with 1,091 yards while junior running back Chris Negron has moved into second in the Moravian record books with 2,854 rushing yards.

Moravian's defense has held its opponent to under 20 points the last three games and in five of the first seven contests this fall. The Hounds also have 51 tackles for loss with 22 quarterback sacks and 14 takeaways this season.
