BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Members of the Moravian College football team spent part of the morning Friday, March 4 at Asa Packer Elementary School participating in the annual Read Across America for Dr. Seuss birthday.
"Our players really look forward to going and reading for the students each year," commented Head Coach Jeff Pukszyn. "Our guys enjoy spending time with the elementary students, reading to them and just talking about anything the kids have to ask."
The 11 players took time to visit classrooms from kindergarten to fifth grade in the school and read books to the classes.
Juniors Mike Hayes, Chris Negron, Khalil Raymond and C.J. Rizzo and sophomores Kyle Conroy, and Justin Greene and freshman Nick Tone, Shane Fisher, Tre' Smith and George Haddad represented the Greyhounds on the trip.
