Greyhounds Set to Host Susquehanna for Homecoming on Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football team returns to action after its bye week on Saturday, October 15 when the Greyhounds host Susquehanna University in a Centennial Conference game kicking off at 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field as part of Moravian's annual Homecoming celebration.

The Hounds enter the game at 4-1 on the season and 3-1 in Centennial Conference action after a fourth quarter win at Ursinus College two weeks ago. It is the 11th time in school history that the program is 4-1 after five games and the 15th time in 92 years that Moravian has won at least four games through the first half of the season.

Senior running back Chris Negron broke the career rushing record in the last game, and he now has 3,897 yards in his career while senior quarterback Mike Hayes has set the school career record with 460 completions at Moravian.

Senior linebacker Edward Delia is leading the Moravian defense and the entire Centennial Conference at 11.0 tackles per game, and he was also named the conference Defensive Player of the Week after the game at Ursinus on October 1.
