Hounds' Offensive Line Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- The Moravian College offensive line of senior Bradley Straight, sophomore Joseph Pellegrino and freshmen Jason Barish, Andrew DeMaio, Tyler Maxsim and Brett Poling have been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week presented by Scoutware for their performance last week.

Straight is in his third year as a starter while Pellegrino is a second year starter. Barish has started the entire season at center for the Greyhounds while Maxsim was making his third start of the season. DeMaio made his first career start due to illness but left before halftime with an injury, bringing Poling into the game for the remainder of the contest. Poling has also started six contests in his debut season.

The group helped the Greyhounds posted their second 600-yard game of the season with 667 yards on 90 plays in a 42-30 win at Juniata College. The Hounds attempted 53 passes in the contest with a school-record 34 completions and just two sacks. Moravian senior quarterback Mike Hayes threw for a school-record 516 yards while senior running back Chris Negron recorded his 20th career 100-yard game with 129 yards.

Moravian closes out its 2016 season on Saturday, November 12 when the Greyhounds host rival Muhlenberg College in a Centennial Conference game kicking off at 12:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field in Bethlehem.
