BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football team kicks off its 2017 season with a night game on Thursday, August 31 at 7:00 p.m. when the Greyhounds travel King's College for their only non-conference game of the fall.
The Greyhounds and the Monarchs play one of just 11 NCAA Division III games across the nation on the opening night, and one of seven to kickoff at 7:00 p.m. with the other four games kicking off later in the evening.
Moravian will begin its 2017 Centennial Conference season on Saturday, September 9 as the Hounds host McDaniel College for a 1:00 p.m. start at Rocco Calvo Field. The Greyhounds then travel to defending Centennial Conference Champion Johns Hopkins University for a 12:00 p.m. kickoff in Baltimore on Saturday, September 16.
The Blue and Grey return home to host Ursinus College in Moravian's annual Homecoming game with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, September 23. The Hounds conclude the first half of the season with a trip to Gettysburg College on Saturday, September 30 at 1:00 p.m., and Moravian hosts Susquehanna University on Saturday, October 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
After the bye week, which was moved a week later this season by the Centennial Conference, the Greyhounds return to action on Saturday, October 21 with a trip to Juniata College for a 12:00 p.m. kickoff. The Hounds then return home to host Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday, October 28 and Dickinson College on Saturday, November 4 with both games kicking off at 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field. Moravian will honor its 2017 Hall of Fame Class at the Dickinson game.
The Greyhounds close out the year with their annual rivalry game at Muhlenberg College on Saturday, November 11 with kickoff at 1:00 p.m. in Allentown.
