Greyhounds Fall in Overtime to Immaculata

Freshman midfielder Ashley O'Donnell scored on a penalty stroke in overtime to lift the host Immaculata University field hockey team to a 1-0 non-conference victory over Moravian College Saturday.

O'Donnell's winning stroke gave the Mighty Macs their first win of the season while the Greyhounds dropped their first contest of the season.

Immaculata had a 9-5 advantage in shots while Moravian had a 14-13 edge in penalty corners. Greyhound sophomore goalie Andrea Eck had six saves in the match while Immaculata senior keeper Brittany Worthington had two saves.
