Field Hockey Schedule Set for 2015

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey team opens the 2015 season at home against non-conference DeSales University on Wednesday, September 2 at 4:00 p.m. at Betty Prince Field.

The Greyhounds have nine home games being split between the Betty Prince grass field and the turf at Rocco Calvo Fiel and are led by 12th-year Head Coach Amy Endler. Moravian was 5-4 at home last season with four of those wins at Rocco Calvo.

The Hounds will take on Bryn Mawr College on Saturday, September 5 on the turf at 1:00 p.m.. The Blue and Grey will head to Immaculata University on Wednesday, September 9 and return home for a pair of games, again split one on turf against William Paterson University on Saturday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. and one on the grass against Cedar Crest College on Wednesday, September 16 at 4:00 p.m.

Moravian heads on a five game road stint as they have a total of 11 non-conference matches eight to start the season heading out first against Fairleigh Dickinson University on Saturday, September 19. On Monday, September 21, the Hounds face off against Neumann University at 5:00 p.m. and then take on King's College for a night match on Wednesday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m.

The Greyhounds begin their 2015 Landmark Conference schedule on Saturday, September 26 when the squad travels to Towson, Maryland to face Goucher College at 1:00 p.m. and the Blue & Grey round out September with a non-conference game at Cabrini College on Wednesday, September 30 at 4:00 p.m.

Moravian will begin the month of October with a Landmark match on Betty Prince Field against The Catholic University of America on Saturday, October 3 at 1:00 p.m. The Hounds will return to Rocco Calvo Field when they battle rival Muhlenberg College in a Matte Award match on Wednesday October 7 at 4:00 p.m. before heading on the road to face Landmark foe Juniata College on Saturday, October 10 for a 1:00 p.m. match.

The Greyhounds will have a three conference match home stretch , first by welcoming Elizabethtown College on Tuesday, October 13 at 4:00 p.m. Later that week, the Hounds will face off against Susquehanna University on Saturday, October 17 at 1:00 p.m. and they will not return to action until The University of Scranton arrives in town on Sunday, October 25 for a 1:00 p.m. game.

Moravian will finish up its final two games on the road, one being non-conference against Wilkes University on Thursday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. and then with a trip to Landmark opponent Drew University on Saturday, October 31 at with a 1:00 p.m. start.
