Field Hockey Drops Conference Match With Catholic

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey team dropped a Landmark Conference game to The Catholic University of America on Sunday afternoon at Rocco Calvo Field by a final score of 8-0.

Having a career day for the Hounds was junior goalkeeper Megan Kanyuk, who made a career-high 20 saves on the day. The 20 saves are tied for eight most in the Moravian record books. Kanyuk also became the sixth player in the program's history to achieve 200 career saves; she currently has 201 career saves. Making two defensive saves for the Greyhounds was junior defender Shauna Poling bringing her season total to four defensive saves.

Up next for Moravian is the Matte Award contest with Muhlenberg College on Wednesday, October 7 at 4:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
