Hounds Fall to FDU-Florham on Alumni Day

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey team fell to FDU-Florham, 3-0, in non-conference action at John Makuvek Field Saturday afternoon as the Greyhounds hosted their annual Alumni game before the match.

Senior goalie Megan Kanyuk posted 21 saves to raise her career total to 374.

The Greyhounds nearly broke on the scoreboard in the 66th minute when senior forward Kyla Rodrigues had her shot get past the goalie before a defensive save stopped the shot just before the goal line.

Returning for the Alumni match today were Audrey Weaver Sparks '98, Brooke Dancho '01, Stacee Hogan '05, Amy Kranchalk '05, Stephanie Rauch-Mannino '05, Kimberly Gialanella '07, Beverly Beaver '08, Erica Sechrist '08, Julie Bisci '10, Stephanie Dellaquilla '10, Vita Ranella '11, Sarah Carman '11, Alexandra Lopez '11, Maureen Helfers '11, Becky Renaldo '11, Andrea Eck '14, Emily Marley '15 and Rebecca Hamel '16 along with Head Coach Amy Endler '93.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action Wednesday, September 21 in a non-conference match versus King's College beginning at 5:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
