Wrazien Nets First Career Goal but Hounds Fall at FDU-Florham

MADISON, N.J. --- The Moravian College field hockey team dropped its first road match of the 2017 season Thursday evening, falling to FDU-Florham, 3-1, in non-conference action.

The Devils scored the first three goals of the match, netting tallies in the 11th, 15th and 24th minutes. The Greyhounds answered in the 33rd minute as sophomore midfielder/defender Haley Wrazien converted on a penalty stroke for her first collegiate goal.

Freshman goalie Ashley Kunsman recorded 21 saves for Moravian, tied for the tenth most in a single match in school history.

The Hounds are set to return to action on Saturday, September 9 when the squad hosts William Paterson (N.J.) University in a non-conference match on John Makuvek Field beginning at 1:00 p.m.
