Greyhounds Fall at Elizabethtown in Landmark Conference Action

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey team fell to Elizabethtown College, 4-0, in Landmark Conference action on the road Wednesday afternoon.

The Blue Jays nearly scored in the fifth minute for a quick lead but Greyhound junior defender Haley Wrazien made a defensive save to keep the match scoreless. Elizabethtown would break onto the scoreboard in the 18th minute for a 1-0 advantage, where the match would stand at the intermission. The Blue Jays added three more goals in the second half.

Moravian sophomore goalie Ashley Kunsman recorded seven saves.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 13 when the squad hosts Drew University in a Landmark Conference match beginning at 4:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
