Why did you choose Moravian College?
I chose to attend Moravian
College because I wanted to get a great education while being a
student-athlete.
What is your major and why? Favorite Course? Future
Plans?
My major in biochemistry and mathematics will prepare me
for medical school. My favorite courses are chemistry and calculus.
After medical school I want to be a pediatrician.
What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
My most memorable moments
as a freshman were playing as a Greyhound and making new
friends.
How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in
the classroom?
Being an athlete has helped me as a student in the
classroom because a sport helps enforce time management.
What is the most difficult part of your sport?
The most difficult part of my sport is managing field hockey and schoolwork as a science and math major.
Why do you wear your jersey number?
I wear my jersey number
because the number 4 represents my four values I believe in:
leadership, hardwork, dedication and perseverance.
What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian
College student-athlete?
Playing a sport can be some of the greatest times of your
life but remember academics come first!
Why is community service important to your role as a
student-athlete at Moravian?
Community service is an important aspect for student-athletes
because it gives back to the community that supports us as a
team.
Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to
overcome...
An obstacle would be learning to cooperate as a team, despite the
fact that everyone might not always see eye-to-eye with each
other.
