DANIELSVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf team opened its 2016-17 season by capturing first place at the annual Moravian Fall Invitational Monday at Woodstone Country Club as the Greyhounds posted a team score of 305.

"I was really pleased to see the guys come out and play well for the first event after losing a couple of guys to graduation," commented Head Coach Kevin Edwards. "It was really nice to see a couple of the younger guys step up and play well. They've been practicing and playing well so it was nice to see it come through in the event. Beginning the year with a win is a great to get started."
