Hounds Compete in Opening Round of Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational

MOOSIC, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf team competed in the opening round of the 36-hole Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational hosted by the University of Scranton Sunday at Glenmaura National Golf Course, and the Greyhounds are ninth of 12 schools after the first round.

Moravian had a team score of 325 on the first day of competition led by a one-over par round of 72 from sophomore Joe Rochelle that has him tied for sixth of the 58 golfers. Sophomore Kody Long is tied for 35th with an 81 in the first round while freshman Nick Kuhn is 41st with an 84 on the opening day. Junior Matt Miksiewicz and freshman Andrej Skrbinsek are both tied for 47th with opening rounds of 88.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to close out the 2016-17 season with the second round of the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational on Monday, April 24.
