Moravian in 6th Place after Opening Round of Landmark Conference Fall Invitational

HARRISBURG, Pa. --- The Moravian College golf team sits in sixth place of eight teams after the opening 18 holes of the Landmark Conference Fall Invitational being hosted by Elizabethtown College at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course, the site of the 2019 Landmark Conference Championship next May.

The Greyhounds fired an opening round 319 and are 13 strokes behind first place Drew University. Senior Joe Rochelle is in a tie for ninth place of the 40 golfers after carding a five over par 77 on Saturday that included four birdies and six pars. Junior Nick Kuhn and senior Kody Long are both tied for 19th with opening rounds of 80 with Kuhn carding a birdie and 10 pars and Long recording one birdie and eight pars. Sophomore Thomas Lakata is tied for 25th with an 82 on Saturday with a birdie and nine pars while sophomore Kody Kolnik is tied for 29th after an 83 that included eight pars.

Round two of the Landmark Conference Fall Invitational being hosted by Elizabethtown College at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course is set to tee off on Sunday, October 21 at 10:15 a.m.
