BEHTLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's basketball team will start its 2016-17 season with a non-conference contest at rival Muhlenberg College on Tuesday, November 15 at 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Hall in Allentown as part of the doubleheader with the women's team.
The Hounds will then head to Montclair State University for a tournament before playing their home opener on Tuesday, November 22 versus DeSales University in Johnston Hall at 8:00 p.m. The game with the Bulldogs kicks off a string of three straight home games that finishes with the Greyhounds' 2016-17 Landmark Conference season versus Elizabethtown College on Saturday, December 3 at 4:00 p.m.
Moravian has six more non-conference games to close out the 2016 part of the schedule with a trip to the Bridgewater (Va.) College Tournament on December 9-10, a game at NCAA Division I Lafayette College on Monday, December 19 at 8:00 p.m. in Easton and the return of the Roosevelts 21st Greyhound Classic in Johnston Hall on December 30 and 31.
The Greyhounds begin the 2017 half of the season on Saturday, January 7 with a Landmark Conference game at Susquehanna University. Moravian then comes home to Johnston Hall to play five of its next seven games at home in Landmark Conference action. After four more road games, the Blue and Grey finish out the regular season on Saturday, February 18 versus The Catholic University of America with a 4:00 p.m. tip-off in Johnston Hall.
