BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College Head Men's Basketball Coach Justin Potts saw a tweet by University of Houston Men's Basketball Coach Kelvin Sampson looking for donations of t-shirts and shoes to give out to the people of Houston that are in need after Hurricane Harvey and decided to help.

Potts started collecting t-shirts and shoes for members of the Moravian Athletic Department, gathering nine pairs of shoes as well as numerous t-shirts and sweatshirts from around the department.

"The events in Houston are tragic and several people's lives have been impacted," Potts said. "Coach Sampson at the University of Houston put out a tweet and it is great to see the power of the coaching community. To be able to contribute to this campaign is something that was an easy decision for the program and I appreciate the coaches in the department joining us. The whole department sends our thoughts and prayer to the people of Houston."

Potts shipped off the box of donations on Friday, September 1.
