Jordan Young Joins Moravian Men's Basketball Coaching Staff

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College Head Men's Basketball Coach Justin Potts has added Jordan Young to the Greyhounds' staff for the 2018-19 season.

Young spent last winter as an assistant coach for the girls team at Freedom High School, helping lead the Lady Patriots to their first District XI Title Championship in 12 years, with an overall record of 21-8.

Young is a 2017 graduate of Penn State Lehigh Valley with a Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation and Human Services. As a student-athlete, Young was a four-year starter and team captain for the Lions. During his senior year, Young was named the USCAA Division II Student Athlete of the Year as well as the John S. Egli Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award. He was a two-time Male Athlete of the Year, Men's Basketball Player of the Year, as well as a two time PSUAC All-Conference Selection. Young was the first 1,000 men's scorer in Penn State Lehigh Valley history, finishing his career with 1,023 points. Young is a Bethlehem native, graduating and playing basketball for Freedom High School.
