Mike Frew returns to the Moravian sidelines in 2022-23 for his eighth season and he will serve as as assistant coach after serving as an interim head coach in 2021-22.

Frew is no stranger to the Moravian program having served as an assistant coach during the pandemic shortened 2020-21 season as well as an Assistant Varsity Coach and Head Junior Varsity Coach from 2002-07. Frew played for the Greyhounds for four seasons, and he was a team captain as a senior. He saw action in 64 career games with 241 points, 168 rebounds, 49 assists, 30 steals and 12 blocked shots for the Hounds.

Frew has also coached on the high school level around the Lehigh Valley, serving as Head Boys Varsity Coach at Pen Argyl High School from 2007-11, Head Boys Varsity Coach at Bethlehem Catholic High School from 2011-15, Head Boys Freshman Coach at Liberty High School in 2016-17 and Head Boys Junior Varsity Coach at Liberty from 2018-20.

Frew graduated from Moravian in 2002 with Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology, and he earned his Elementary Education Certification in 2004 at Moravian. Frew has Masters Degrees in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University in 2007 and Delaware Valley University in 2019. He has been a teacher in the Lehigh Valley since 2005, spending two years at the Centennial School of Lehigh University, five years in the Pen Argyl School District and the last 10 years in the Parkland School District.

Frew currently lives in South Whitehall Township with his wife Jessica and daughters Leah and Riley.
