SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team dropped its final match of 2017 season by a score of 1-0 to Susquehanna University in Landmark Conference action Saturday afternoon.

The Greyhounds would get 13 shots off with five shots on target, but could not get a ball past the River Hawks' keeper.  The first opportunity coming in the opening 21st minute by freshman midfielder Alec Aloia that was saved. The Blue and Grey would get another two shots on goal coming by senior midfielder Connor Phillips n the 23rd and 24th minutes but still no score. Junior midfielders Brendan Docherty and David Durski each put one shot on goal and could not get past the keeper and the squads head into the intermission without a goal.

Moravian would get only four shots off in the second half of action with two going on goal. Aloia came close early in the half with a shot in the 48th minute and then Phillips put his third shot on goal of the night in the 89th minute. The River Hawks took nine shots in the second half that wore down the Greyhound defense, with eight put on the keeper. The lone goal got into the net in the 75th minute and proved to be the difference. The Greyhounds would end the contest with a 17-13 edge in shots, and fell to Susquehanna 4-2 in corner kicks.

Greyhounds' senior goalie Bryan Yaskowski made eight saves in his final match as the goalkeeper.
