BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team knotted the score in the 69th minute only to see visiting Elizabethtown College score three minutes later and take a 2-1 match over the Greyhounds in Landmark Conference action Wednesday evening on John Makuvek Field.

The Blue Jays scored the only goal of the first half as they took a 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute.

After being held without a shot in the first half, the Hounds would have a pair of chances early in the second half with shots on goal by senior defender David Durski and sophomore forward Ethan Blakely. Shortly after sophomore goalie Michael Bone made his fourth and fifth saves of the evening, Moravian was awarded a free kick about 10 yards inside the midfield line. Senior defender Matthew Clayton served the ball all the way into the 6-yard box where senior defender Rocky Fatuova headed the service into the net for his second goal of the season and fifth of his career.

Unfortunately for the Blue and Grey, the score wouldn't stay tied for long as Elizabethtown moved back in front just 2:02 later. Bone, who finished with nine saves, kept Moravian within striking distance when he saved a penalty kick in the 81st minute and the rebound shot.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 20 when the squad hosts The Catholic University of America in a Landmark Conference contest beginning at 1:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field with Moravian celebrating Senior Day before the match begins.
