
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team played through 90 minutes of scoreless action before falling to visiting Lycoming College, 1-0 in overtime, in a hard-fought non-conference contest on John Makuvek Field.
The Greyhounds, who are 7-2-1 on the season, had their best opportunity to score in the second half when sophomore midfielder Safa Turkdonmez fired a shot on net. The Warriors won the contest on their sixth corner kick of the day with a header after a flick on the corner in the 97th minute of action.
Junior keeper Michael Bone had five saves in the match, the Hounds' fourth overtime contest of the year.
Moravian is slated to return to action on Saturday, October 5 in a Landmark Conference match at Susquehanna University beginning at 1:00 p.m.
