Moravian Falls to No. 5 Messiah in Non-Conference Action

GRANTHAM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer squad fell to No. 5 Messiah University, 6-0, in non-conference action Saturday evening as the Greyhounds played the second of three nationally ranked opponents to open the 2022 season.

How It Happened

  • The Falcons took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute, and Messiah scored again in the 32nd minute to head to the intermission with a 2-0 edge
  • Messiah added a pair of goals in the first seven minutes of the second half to double its advantage to 4-0, and the Falcons netted two more goals later in the half

Inside the Numbers

  • Junior goalie Andrew Remias registered six saves in the first 72 minutes of the contest while junior keeper Christian Beebe played the final 18 minutes with one save
