Hounds Post Third Straight Shutout Win with 2-0 Victory over Susquehanna

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer squad posted its third straight shutout and fourth consecutive win with a 2-0 victory over visiting Susquehanna University in Landmark Conference action on John Makuvek Field Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • After a scoreless 42 minutes to start the contest, the Greyhounds took a 1-0 lead with just 2:19 until the intermission when senior defender Dan Apryasz found the goal off of a pass from sophomore midfielder Dan Ingersoll
  • Moravian added an insurance goal with 4:01 remaining in the match as senior midfielder Carson Snyder put a ball into the net

Inside the numbers

  • Apryasz's goal was the first of his career with the Hounds while Ingersoll recorded his first career assist
  • Snyder netted his second goal of 2022 and the fourth of his career
  • Junior goalie Andrew Remias posted his third straight shutout, making six saves in the match
  • Moravian finished the afternoon with a 16-9 advantage in shots and a 7-4 edge in corner kicks
