Moravian Falls to Drew & Montclair State in First Intercollegiate Competition

MADISON, N.J. --- The Moravian University men's swimming team competed in its first-ever intercollegiate competition Friday evening in a double dual meet at Drew University with Montclair State University. The Greyhounds fell to the host Rangers, 227-20, and the Red Hawks, 238-20.

How It Happened

  • Freshman Donnie Hunt placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 23.20 seconds, and he also had a time of 55.86 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle
  • Freshman Davin Glynn recorded a time of 11:12.38 in the 1,000-yard freestyle, and he posted a time of 5:18.45 in the 500-yard freestyle
  • Freshman Harrison Ziegler swam 1:59.38 in the 200-yard freestyle, and he recorded a time of 5:17.96 in the too-yard freestyle
  • Freshman Billy Stergianopoulos posted a time of 34.59 seconds in the 50-yard backstroke, and he had a time of 27.56 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle
  • The quartet of Glynn, Hunt, Stergianopoulos and Ziegler posted a time of 1:55.49 in the 200-yard medley relay, and they finished the meet with a time of 1:42.33 in the 200-yard freestyle relay
